TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read through the following terms & conditions carefully.

By paying your deposit it is accepted that you agree to the following:

Tasting & design session

Your tasting and design session will be provided as part of your bespoke cake service once you confirm CRUMB as your bespoke cake baker. In the unlikely event that you should wish to cancel you cake after the tasting
session (this has never happened) and you haven't paid your deposit yet, I will unfortunately have to invoice your for the amount of £20.00 payable by bank transfer to cover my costs.
Tastings are adequate for 2 people (usually the bride & groom), but if you want to bring more guests I will charge a fee of £10.00 per person.

COSTS

Please note that the cake price includes all the material used in the cake. This includes the ingredients, baking, cake boards for every layer, dowelling to support the structure of the cake, covering, decoration, the cake base board at
the bottom, ribbon surrounding every layer and detailing. This price will also include labour & hours spent on the cake itself.

Deposits & payments

All our products require a deposit of 50%of the total of your cake, unless the total value of your cake is less than £200. In this cake the full amount is required to secure your date.This amount will become due once your quote has been checked and agreed by you. Your quote is valid for 30 days and the deposit should be paid within this time frame.
The balance of your cake is due no later than 14 days before the date of your function. Payments need to be made by paying the amount directly into CRUMB's bank account or presented in person. I will provide you with an invoice
for all deposits and full payments via email.

Non Payment & cancellations

If full payment of the cake is not received 14 days prior to the event your cake will be cancelled (unless you have a special arrangement with me) and will result in the loss of your 50% deposit.

If for any reason it is necessary for you to cancel your cake order the following charges will apply:

If the cake is cancelled 21 days or more prior to the delivery/collection date, a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid will incur.If the cake is cancelled within 21 days to the actual delivery/collection date, you will be charged the full amount(100%) of the cake.

Change of function date

If, for any reason you wish to re-arrange the date of your function, CRUMB will try its best to accommodate
these changes provided sufficient notice is given and that we are able to provide a cake for the re-arranged function date.
However, if we are fully booked on your new function date and cannot provide the cake, it will not be possible to refund
your 50% deposit. The limiting factor with any cake provision is usually the cake set-up. As a compromise, it may be possible to provide you with a cake prior to your function date, but under these circumstances it will
become your responsibility to collect, deliver and set-up the cake at the venue. In the unlikely event that you have problems with your function arrangements, which may include payments to CRUMB, itis recommended that you take out wedding insurance to cover all eventualities. This will give both you and your wedding service
providers 'peace of mind' and will avoid any unnecessary problems.

INGREDIENTS & ALLERGIES

Please be aware that whilst your chosen cake may not be made with nuts or a nut product, it will be prepared in a kitchen where nut products may be used in other cakes and fillings. CRUMB does not guarantee to match up
the exact colours and designs you have chosen due to the fact that every cake is handmade by me in my kitchen and may vary despite every effort being made. It is not recommended to eat decorations on your cake that contains a very high concentration of food colouring.
The decorations on your cake may contain wires, jewels and other non-edible products. It is your or your caterer's responsibility to ensure that these non-edible products are removed before
serving the cake to yourself or your guests. Alternatively, we can provide a fully edible cake that is not so highly decorated or coloured.

FLOWERS

Please be aware that when you want fresh flowers on your cake it is preferred that I source them for you from my highly
professional florist. This ensures that the correct quantity is sourced and that the quality will be up to Crumb's high standard. If you insist that I use your florist I need to contact them directly to discuss my requirements. If they provide flowers that are ot up to my personal standard, I reserve the right to refuse them onto my
design.

PORTION GUIDE

Our portion guides are intended as a guide only and are based upon 1" x 1" cubes. This will vary according to how the
chef/venue cuts the cake.

BEST BEFORE DATE

Your cake is baked to ensure it is at its freshest for your event. After this date, we advise sponge cakes are frozen
asap to ensure its condition is retained, otherwise, we cannot guarantee its quality if it's consumed more than 48 hours after the event. Our cakes are made entirely of natural ingredients, because of this they will not have the extended shelf life of most supermarket cakes, which contain additives & preservatives to ensure their prolonged life. Freezing the cake however,preserves the taste of the sponge & icing as much as feasibly possible, but bear in mind that it will affect the visual appearance of the icing. It is recommend that food should only be frozen for a maximum of 3 months

SETTING UP

Whilst CRUMB will try to ensure that your cake is presented at its very best, we cannot be held responsible for the location of the cake at the venue, the stability or levelness of the table upon which the cake is displayed or the quality of the surroundings around the cake. Please ensure, therefore, that the cake presentation table' is level, stable and strong enough to hold the cake.

Once the cake has been collected or delivered, set-up, and signed for, CRUMB cannot be held responsible for any interference or damage to the cake. I will always check these details though when I deliver the cake just to make sure
everything is perfect.

CAKE & STAND AND KNIFE HIRE

It is the responsibility of the client to return any hired items back to me after the wedding, either via personal delivery or post. If an item is not returned it will be invoiced for in full. The full value of your hired items will be indicated to you. Items
should be returned packaged thoroughly in bubble wrap and lots of protection inside a box. If they break during transit you will be invoiced for the item.

PROMOTIONAL, DESIGN & PUBLICATION RIGHTS

Upon signing the order form the client hereby agrees that ANMAR ROBINSON (CRUMB) is the sole
designer and owner of the final cake design. All cake designs used by Anmar Robinson remains property
of CRUMB. 
We reserve the right to re-use and publish our photographs of the client's cake as
and when required. Whilst we try to ensure that all published designs by Anmar Robinson are exclusive to
CRUMB, we do not guarantee exclusivity of cake designs between our clients.

OWNERSHIP RIGHTS

The client owns the cake once delivered to the venue or collected. If the client fails to pay the full amount for the cake
and/or products, as agreed and stated on the order form, then ownership of the products remains with CRUMB.

The responsibility of ensuring the cake remains in good order lies with the owner of the cake. The transfer of ownership also equates to the transfer of responsibility.
When ownership of the cake is transferred to the client it becomes the client's responsibility to ensure the cake remains in good order. A form provided by CRUMB is signed on
transfer of ownership to ensure that the cake is handed over in good order.

EXTERNAL PUBLISHED DESIGNS

CRUMB cannot make exact copies of other cake designs produced by other UK registered cake companies. This ensures that cakes within the industry remain exclusive to those companies and also ensures that there is a large variety of 'cake designs'' available to clients. This is healthy for the industry and helps to differentiate us from the mass market.

I am very proud of my creations and I would love to show off your cake! Please send me some photos from your photographer one you receive them - I would appreciate this very much!
